Dr. Gerry Lozeau

Over 35 Years Of Academic Experience

 

As the Associate Director of a leading provider of on-campus reading and study skills programs for day and boarding school students, during his tenure he was primarily responsible for curriculum, integration of sales and course content for presentations, and the hiring and training of approximately 630 teaching staff.  Over 40,000 students participated in the courses he coordinated in schools throughout the U.S. and internationally.

Dr. Lozeau earned his A.B. from Suffolk University, his M.Ed. from Boston State College, and his Ph.D. in School Administration from the University of Colorado.

Gerry has an exemplary record of military service, achieving promotion to the rank of colonel based on leadership of teams and units to accomplish objectives in varied settings, including Germany, Vietnam, and throughout the United States.  His current status is Colonel, United States Army, Retired.

Gerry’s community activities have included membership on the Board of Trustees for Suffolk University and 37 years as a member of Kiwanis International.  He is the recipient of the Tablet of Honor from Kiwanis International and a 2011-2012 Presidential Inspiration Award from KI and the NE & Bermuda District.  He is President of the Kiwanis Club of Hanson and Kiwanis Club of Hanson Foundation and completing a third term as a District Lieutenant Governor (LTG15).  He served a term on the Board of Directors, Kiwanis Foundation of New England (2013-2014).  On behalf of his club he received the Most Improved and Largest Increase in Membership Growth awards (2011-2012) of 153 district clubs.  Most recently he was recognized as the 2015-2016 Outstanding Lieutenant Governor at the 98th Annual District Convention.
